  • To help the urethra to squeeze and stay closed you can do exercises (Kegel's exercises) to strengthen the muscles which close the urethra.

  • If you have difficulty doing Kegel's exercises there are methods available from your doctor or a physiotherapist to help you better exercise your pelvic muscles (biofeedback, pelvic floor electrical stimulation, and vaginal cones).
